Experimenting with blend modes

- [Instructor] I find the best way of learning how to use and actively using blend modes is to experiment with the raw assets you have. That's because different images, different background colors, and different background images and they just interact differently depending on what blend mode you're using. So a combination that works for one set of images may not work for another. The good news is it's very easy to experiment in the browser to see what is happening here. And the blend modes don't have settings to them. You just set them or take them away there's no extra values that you need to add in. In this example I have an image and the apparent container of the image has its background color set to purple. So let's see what happens when I changed the blend mode here.
