- In this video I'll explain how to deal with a question in which the PSAT is testing your ability to express an idea in the clearest possible way. So again we have our passage here, and the part of the passage we're looking at is signified by the highlighted six, so I'll read that sentence. If analysis of the traffic count indicates that there is more traffic than the current road as it is designed at this time can efficiently accommodate, the transporation planner might recommend widening the road to add another lane. Okay. So let's look at the choices here. We can leave it as is, we could say, the current design of the road right now, we could say, the road as it is now currently designed, or we could just say choice D, the current design of the road. So choice D turns out to be the answer here, and I'll tell you why. If I say, the current road as it is designed at this time, I'm kind of repeating myself, right? Because current means at this time, and we can see the same problem…
