Add custom shapes - Keynote Tutorial
From the course: Create Powerful Presentations with Apple Keynote
Add custom shapes
- [Instructor] There are several ways you can add custom shapes in Keynote. You can add any shape from the shape panel tool here and select a variety. These are actually really helpful if you're going to create an infographic and what you can do is you can get even more creative by putting two shapes together to form one, so what you do is you select them. Make sure you have your arrange panel open. At the very bottom, select unite, and what that does is that it brings those two shapes together. You can scale them up or down and now what you can do is you can right click on the shapes and make them editable. What that does is that now it adds some points to your shape and you can customize it even more. Now another thing you can do is go to your shape panel, and select the pen tool and actually create a custom shape. Now if you have something that's pretty intricate, it can get a little hard and time-consuming to do it…
