- [Instructor] Animating your text in Keynote can help you create a different visual emphasis to your content. However, when we use animations on our texts, we need to be selective with which ones we use. If we use one that creates too much movement, you will make people dizzy because we're naturally wired to see the text and immediately want to read it. Instead, think of using text animations that are more natural to our reading flow. Let's take a look at a few examples. In this example, what I did was I animated this little paragraph using a keyboard effect. So to animate your type, you're just going to go to your Animate panel. Make sure you have your text selected, and then you can do a build-in type animation. So what I did is I selected Keyboard. Now all of these effects, you can apply to your type, but I do not recommend it. And I will share with you in just a minute how that looks when you add the wrong…
