- The line draw tool is a hidden little gem inside Keynote. This tool allows you to create a more interactive experience with your presentations. Here we're using the animated timeline we just created in a previous movie, and we're adding an animated line using line draw. To create this, we're going to need to go back into our main editing mode and we're going to use a line shape using the pen tool, and then we're going to make an animation for that line. So you can see I have a couple of lines circles here, but I want to share with you how you can use the line draw tool to create this. We're going to go to this shape panel, and then we're going to select this icon to access the pen tool. We see a little window pop up that gives us some information as how to use this.
