- [Instructor] There are two ways we can start designing a custom Apple Keynote theme. We can start from scratch with a blank theme, or you can design your presentation by modifying some of the elements using a preexisting theme. Here, you can see a variety of options that are classified in different categories. To work from an existing theme, all you need to do is just select one of these and voila, you can start customizing from there, but I want to empower you with knowledge on how to create a fully-customized Keynote template, so we will be working with a blank template. What we're going to do is we're going to go and select the basic white template that they have. And I'm just going to double click. Now we have this template open, then we can start modifying.
