Routing
- In this last video I'm gonna show you how you can route different instruments in your multi to separate tracks in your DAW. Now again, I'm using Ableton 9 here so this will only apply to Live users. That being said, routing works the same way in KONTAKT no matter which DAW you use. So be sure to check out the documentation for your DAW to find out how it will work for you. First let's load up a couple of instruments and assign them both to the same MIDI channel. Load up a Piano and a String Ensemble. Turn the String Ensemble down a little bit and our Piano up. Just notice here that this is on MIDI channel 1. I'm gonna set this to Omni so it just responds to all channels. So now when we play it, (piano and string instruments together) playing two different instruments at once. Okay, so now let's click on theoutput here at the top. You see small Mixer pop up at the bottom.
