Looping
- I'm gonna quickly show you how looping works here in Kontakt. Let's load a pad sample that I have. Okay, let's go into the "edit" window, and then we'll click on "wave editor". Now I'll play a key. (pad sound) See this yellow outline? That's the section that Kontakt is looping. When I loaded this sample, Kontakt auto-detected the best parts of the sample to loop, and turned the loop function on automatically. It actually does a great job of this. It's seamless, at least in this example. I'm gonna show you how you can set your own loop point, though. You can do this by clicking on the ends of the yellow section here and moving them left to right. (looping pad sound) It's actually a little more difficult to find natural loop points on your own for sounds like this, so I suggest letting Kontakt do it for you. If you play around long enough, you'll eventually be able to find them. That being said, maybe a smooth sound isn't the sound you're looking for. In that case, feel free to set…
