Modulation and external control within KONTAKT

- Modulation is actually really easy to do in Kontakt. I'm gonna show you how. I've got our loop pad from one of the previous videos loaded for our example. (gentle music) Let's edit it. Now, Kontakt automatically assigns two modulation sources to new sounds by default. The first one is envelope control. The amplitude of the instrument. Amplitude of the instrument is being controlled by this knob right here. (gentle music) You can get to this envelope by going to the bottom here. This is where you'll find your ADSR controls. Attack, Sustain, Decay, and Release. The second modulator that controls volume is mini velocity. This means that the volume knob will also be affected by different mini velocities on my keyboard here. If I hit a key harder, it'll be louder. If I hit it softer, it'll be quieter.
