Cropping and resizing shots in Photoshop

- Because the image sequence was bigger than you needed, it's likely that you'll have to scale the image. Now, you can scale it once or scale in keyframe if you'd like. Before we change the size though, it's a good idea to look at the speed. Let's adjust the size of the canvas. To do this, I'll press Command or Control + T for free transform and it converts it to a smart object. A smart object contains all of the pixel data inside. Let's zoom out a little bit here and you can see the handles. Holding down the Shift key, I can scale this so that it better fits the size of the frame. Now, once you release and press Return, it will update and we can zoom back in and you see that the shot is properly framed up and changed to the timelapse sequence. Now, if you need to, in Photoshop you do have a few options. Clicking the little play button here will allow you to decide if you want to put a zoom or a pan or other options here and this will allow you to do a basic motion effect. So if I…
