- In working with thousands of managers across North America, I found it very common that when performance issues arise in an attempt to fix them, some managers just dive right in without taking a step back to determine what's really going on to plan the best approach. Thoughtfully crafting a coaching solution is very important in successfully dealing with an employee performance problem. And it involves a process of strategic considerations.
