- There's a dangerous myth out there about change that needs to be addressed. They say that change is the only constant, and that businesses must prepare to see the pace of change continue to increase. I agree, but when people talk about this they often follow up by talking about how implementing change is so difficult because employees just don't like change. That's basically a myth, the truth is that most organizations aren't great at implementing and managing change. The truth is that employees usually only resist change when they did not see it coming, and don't understand why it's happening, they didn't feel prepared to deal with it in terms of training and resources, and when they had no voice at all in creating the change.
