- [Instructor] Let's take a look at some effects that you can add to make a photo stand out. In the exercise files album, I'll tap this photo of some mountains just after a storm. In the original photo, it's hard to see the definition in the low hung clouds in the mountains, so this is a perfect situation for the dehaze control, which can often cut through fog and haze and bring in definition in the distance of a landscape photo. To access the global control for dehaze, tap effects panel, and then drag dehaze to the right. That definitely increased the definition in the clouds and some blue sky even appeared. I'll do a before and after by pressing on the photo. So there's the before, and that's how it looks with just a little dehaze. Sometimes dehaze can also bring out unwanted effects like excess color saturation or noise. If that happens, apply other controls that are good at reducing those effects. For example, to…
