The 3-2-1 philosophy for backing up images

- [Instructor] When we talk about keeping your data safe a lot of the people invoke, what they call, the three, two, one rule. Now, what is that? Well, that means keep at least three copies of your data, right, keep backed up data on two different storage types and have one copy of your data somewhere else, off-site. All right, so, let's dig into that just a little deeper. So, here we are, the first one's easy right, the first copy of our data because we all have that. It's right here on our computer, we have these files, we have some sort of drive inside the computer, so there is copy number one, those are the originals. Now, the second set is usually stored, locally, on a hard drive. So, we have a number of different types of drives, here, we have SSDs, we've got an array, we've got a single enclosure hard drive.
