Basic panel edits

- [Instructor] The Basic panel is at the top of the Develop module's right panel group. This is where you make the big overall edits to your images. The Basic panel alone can transform an image from just being okay to being stunning. You'll spend most of the time working with the Basic panel because virtually every image needs some adjustments done here. The Basic panel is divided into five sections and we've already looked at the profile section. You can see that I've added the camera profile Velvia Vivid to this image. Let's take a look at the other four sections, starting at the top with Treatment. This is really basic, we have color, or black and white. Clicking on black and white converts the image to black and white. But keep in mind that the color tones or all the color values of this image are still underlying the black and white.
