Capturing images with props

- All right, so now I'm ready to capture some photographs of Shawn in this environment. I'm using a 70 to 200 millimeter lens and I've stepped back a little bit farther so I can really zoom in and have that compression. What I mean by that is it makes it look like the background is even closer to Shawn, and so I wanna shoot in that way. I'm shooting relatively shallow depth of field. I'm at f five right now. And I'll go ahead and capture a couple of images, and I wanna compose the shot so that I can see a little bit more of the tree, and I can always crop in. (camera clicking) And I love that. Wanna get just a couple more shots of this. (camera clicking) So hopefully you're seeing how he really fits in that scenario, sort of this beautiful kinda iconic scene, and hopefully, he's actually reading the book. (chuckles) And what I mean by that is, when you have a prop or an object, you want someone to be connected to it, to be using it, not faking it, because when something's faked, you…
