- [Instructor] Working on the hat in this photograph was kind of tricky, especially when I was talking. You know, talking and retouching isn't the easiest thing to do, but I think we did a pretty good job. And next what I want to do is look at how we can clean up our layers and then crop and recompose the image. So here, I'm gonna go ahead and merge all of this work together, so there's no need to really save these layers, so I'll go ahead and click on my topmost layer, hold down the Shift key, click on the bottom layer, so that they are all selected. Then you can use a shortcut on a Mac, which is Command E. On Windows that's Control E, and I'll go ahead and just name this R1, and that's the abbreviation that I use when I'm retouching, for retouching one. So this is sort of my level one retouch, done, don't need to worry about any of those layers. I'm not gonna change anything at this point. All right, well, next let's about cropping and recomposing.
