Controlling your set

- Now when photographing an entire team, the energy and the excitement on the set could get overwhelming. You have coaches on the side. You have parents on the side. And, let's say the players, they're really pumped and they're excited. That energy is incredible. But, as a lead photographer, you have to learn how to control the set. If, in the middle of your shooting, one of the kids starts running around, and they trip over one of the light stands, now that's gonna cause damage to the stand. And hopefully the child doesn't get hurt. But it's also gonna stop production on the set. So, as a lead photographer, it's your job to make sure that they stay in one spot. Some of 'em, when they start getting really excited, they try to make their other teammates start laughing and joking while you're shooting. And in doing that, the shots aren't gonna come out as good as you want them to be. So the best thing to do is to get 'em all into a group, show them a couple of the examples on what…
