Creating a CamRanger network
On the back of your Cam Ranger you're going to find a code and you're going to need this code for all sorts of things. Including getting the software registered and everything else when you first launch. Now I recommend you go ahead and launch the software. Get that up and running and it'll ask you for the code. Whether you're using the iPad or the desktop version. Just make sure you go ahead and trigger that. Alright let's go to the CamRanger website for a second. We'll click downloads and you'll note the software is available for Android, Windows, Mac OS X, and iOS, so it should cover most users. Let's start with the CamRanger for the Mac. Now when you launch it, it may ask you to register. I've already registered my software by entering the code on the back of my device, and I was connected to the internet so it paired. The big takeaway here is don't get so excited with your camera and go out into the field without an internet connection. You actually have to register the software…
