Creating black and whites
- [Instructor] When you convert a black and white image with Lightroom Classic, the conversion is non-destructive. This means the color information is still there under the hood, and the tones can be edited individually by working with the underlying colors. Understanding how this works gives you the tools needed to create the best possible black and white conversions from your color photos. We'll use the virtual copy that we just created, found in the Chapter Seven 07_02 folder, to see how this works. And I'll switch to the Develop Module. And before I get started, I'm actually going to take this back to Color, because I want to show you what happens here. I'll click on the Color treatment. I'll collapse the Histogram too, so that we have a little bit more room on the right hand side. Pay attention right here, where the panel says HSL color.
