Creating global vignettes

- [Instructor] A vignette adds a finished look to an image. It evolved from the dark room practice of darkening the edges of a print to bring attention to the subject. The easiest way to do this is in the Edit Panel. Open Effects. Move the Vignette Slider to the left to darken. It's applied equal distance from the edges, but don't overdo it. If a vignette is too strong, it's distracting.
