Creating smart collections

- [Instructor] Smart collections automatically populate based on metadata criteria. Lightroom Classic keeps track of a ton of metadata for your photos, so there's an almost unlimited number of options when creating a smart collection. There's a set of smart collections that comes with your Lightroom Classic catalog. In the Collections panel here, we see this box-looking icon, the two collection sets that we have: the one we created, and the smart collections that's provided. Let's click on the disclosure triangle to open that up and see the smart collections that are provided for us. Also note that there's this gear icon on the collection, and that lets us know that that's a smart collection. I use this one without keywords all the time to find images that I forgot to keyword when importing. I find this really helpful.
