Developing the photograph

- [Instructor] After having cleaned up any distracting elements, next I want to begin to work with a few other controls, like detail and lens corrections in the basic panel. So here, let's go down to the detail panel, and in the in the detail panel I'll click on this icon, it will zoom the image in to 100% so I can see the detail here. The image is a little soft because it's backlit, but that's okay, I'm going to add just a touch of sharpening here, and leave my detail value down. For portraits you typically have a lower value here. Bring the masking up while holding down the option key on a Mac, ALT on Windows, and that will show you the area where this will be applied. And then next, I'll add a little noise reduction, and a little bit of contrast, and seeing that, I need a little more detail there. Okay, great, well all that we've done is just cleaned up the image a little bit, and it's looking good. Next, what about lens corrections? Definitely want to remove chromatic aberration…
