Directly import photos from a camera or SD to a mobile device
- When I go on a trip, I often bring a lot of gear, but sometimes carrying all that gear can be a little bit of a pain, sometimes literally. So, I love the fact that I could be less burdened by carrying less gear. Fortunately, Lightroom mobile on a tablet or a smartphone gives you the full in portability. Now, on the desktop, you saw that we could import from connected devices and the same is true with your smartphone. You can connect the smartphone or tablet to a mobile camera or a memory card, however, it does require an additional device. Now, your smartphone may have a built in card reader, some do, most do not. So, in this case, you're going to need to check with your manufacturer and get the appropriate device. You might have a lightning connector or a USBC connector and you're going to need to get something that goes to either a card reader or a USB slot that would allow you to connect your camera directly.…
