Distortion and vignetting

- [Female Instructor] Let's move on from the HSL sliders and let's move in to Lens Correction. Here in Lens Correction we can adjust for the profile of the lens and we can manually adjust a few things. But let's start here with profile. When we import our files it will import some information that will put the camera and the make and model of our lenses on here. It will automatically adjust for what they consider the flaws of the lens. But you might like the character of your lens. It's not an all-or-nothing proposition here. We can enable the lens profile corrections but we don't have to lose the character and flavor that we really like. Sometimes we like to have the distortion that the lens provides. Sometimes we like to have the vignetting. I like to adjust my vignetting down here at the bottom. I can bring that back. So if I liked what the vignetting had naturally in my lens, I don't have to lose that even if I am correcting for the distortion.
