Dual card slots in cameras
- [Narrator] Most digital cameras have a single memory card slot, which is just fine I mean, generally speaking that's all we need. (laughing) Right so, nothing wrong with that but every now and then on more enthusiast models or professional models. We might have two memory card slots, and that presents us with some unique opportunities in terms of backing up our images. For example, here is an Nikon DSLR, and we see that it has two memory card slots right there, here is an Olympus E-M 1 Mark two, also two memory card slots. Now generally speaking if your camera has two slots, it will give you options for how you manage them. For example you could have raw files go to the top slot and JPEGs to the second or you could send movies down here and your still photos here.
