- [Instructor] Let's look at how to get edited photos out of Lightroom Classic with the export function. But before we get into how to export, I think we should do a little review about the catalog. With Lightroom Classic, you don't save photos in the traditional sense like you would with Photoshop. Remember with Lightroom, the photos remain untouched on the hard drive. The edits are found in the catalog, along with previews and information about the photos. The edits are not with the photograph. To share an edited version of a photo, we need to export out a copy of it. To get to the export, we come up to file and down here to export, and note the keyboard shortcut is Shift + Command + E for a Mac or Shift + Control + E for Windows. So, I'll select that. And in the export dialogue, we see just a ton of options here. What you choose is going to depend on the intended use of the image that you export. So, we'll start by…
