Find photos with filter bar

- [Instructor] If you were on a hunt to find a certain image in your catalog, using the filter bar in the library module could save you a ton of time. The filter bar lets you search photos by just about any information recorded in the metadata. The filter bar is available up here, if you go to the view menu and come down to show filter bar and note that the backslash key will also turn on the filter bar. So if I use my backslash key now, it will hide the filter bar and if I hit the backslash key again, it will show it. There's three modes in the filter bar and clicking on the mode name will reveal that mode and clicking on the name again, we'll hide it. So we have text, attribute and metadata. Let's take a look at text first. There's all kinds of areas that you could search for text. If you click here where it says any searchable field, you get an idea of all the places that this will filter down, searching for text.…
