Finding photos with the filter bar

- [Instructor] Your photos contain a lot of metadata. And you can use this metadata information to filter and search a selection of images using the library module's filter bar. When you're in the library module, to turn on the filter bar, go up to the View menu. And at the top here, you'll see Show Filter Bar. You can also use the Backslash key. And that'll toggle it on and off. So I'll use my Backslash key here. That'll close the filter bar up. And I'll Backslash key again to open it. So that's this area right here at the top of the grid. I've selected all photographs in the catalog panel over here on the left so that I can use the filter bar to search through all of the photos in my catalog. That's how I usually use the filter bar to search through my entire catalog for something that I'm trying to find. There's three modes for searching: text, attribute, and metadata.
