Fine-tune the look and fix the background

- [Instructor] Next let's take a look at how we can fine tune the look in the photograph and then send it over to Photoshop so we can work on the background. When it comes to fine tuning the look, I like to do this by way of virtual copies. I think virtual copies are kind of like layers in Photoshop. They allow you to experiment and try out different ideas. So here I just pressed command ' on a Mac, control ' on Windows to create a virtual copy. Now with this one one of the things that I like to double check or I need to double check is the overall exposure. And if we look at the histogram you can see it's actually a little bit dark, because there isn't really information over here in the brightest tones, and this happens because our eye kind of adjusts to the brightness that we're seeing. And so here I wanna look at how I can increase my exposure a little bit or bring up those whites. Now if we zoom in for a second, and if I press the j key and then drag the whites over what we're…
