- [Narrator] The next step in this project is to work on the hat, so here I'll zoom in a little bit on that area and I'm gonna open up the rulers, Command R on a Mac, Control R on Windows, and I'm gonna bring down a guide from the rulers, if you just drag one out. So I can kinda figure out, well, where should the hat stop? And I think the natural curve should probably stop right round there give or take, you know, a little bit more or less, then let's create a new layer, and one of the ways that you can do something like this where you need to reshape something is you can use the liquefy tool, that might be a good way to try to do it. You could also try to do this with cloning. So let me show you how we can use the clone stamp tool. If ever you have a good edge like I have one over here, what you can do is go ahead and option or alt click to sample it, and then make sure you're at 100 percent opacity, sample all layers, and then just bring this over to a new area.
