- Shine can be a problem when working with a photo because it could be caused by oily skin or harsh light. There are several ways to go about fixing this. But I want to show you one using Photoshop. Remember, with an image selected it's pretty easy to hand that off to Photoshop. Just choose photo, edit in, open as a smart object in Photoshop. Your image will hand off to a new layer. Now we want to do is select the face here where there's some shine. There's a lot of tools to do this, but I'm going to try the object selection tool. And just drag over the face. It will attempt to analyze and find the area using AI to do so. Not bad. If needed, I can also click select subject or select and mask. Select and mask should do the job here. And what I just want to do is feather things a little bit and turn on the smart radius. This will create a nice blending. You can also brush here if needed to adjust the selection.…
