How do I emphasize colors in shadows and highlights?

- Sometimes as you work with an image you'll feel like it needs a little bit extra in the shadows or the highlights. Sometimes we want the highlights to feel warm while the shadows to feel cooler. We can do this with the new color grading tools. I'm going to give you an introduction here and then we'll go a little bit more advanced next. What we'll do here with this image, is scroll down and select the tools for color grading. If I go into this image itself, I want to make an adjustment. Let's start here on the sky a little bit. I want to pull down the blues, just a little darker and that brought a lot dark. Now in the highlights, I want to emphasize the bluish tones. Notice there how it creates the nice blue and gives those highlights a little bit extra kick. Now if we go into the shadows, those can be warmed up and I could put a little bit of orange into them.
