How do I white balance a photo?

- When we refer to white balance with a camera, it's helping the camera calibrate. After all white light is an equal presence of all of the other color components. When this has shifted, things take on a color cast which might not look correct in the photo. In this case here, you see a little bit of a problem with this image. If I go to the develop module here, let's just take a look at that regularly. And I could take a look at the white balance. There are several options here. So, as shot is going to do exactly what the camera saw. And that's fine, but it looks a touch blue. The auto method is Lightroom guessing. But that actually looks a little bit too Brown for me. For something that's supposed to be the ocean. You can go through different presets like daylight and cloudy and others that try to match it. And cloudy is looking pretty good.
