Importing photos from a folder into Lightroom
- There are several ways to import images in the Lightroom. Let's focus on one of the most basic, which is importing from images you all ready have on a hard drive. In Lightroom, go to the upper left corner and click the Plus button here to Add Photos. You now can choose different actions. In this case, you see I have both my smartphone connected, which it reads as a device, and that I can browse to find more pictures. I'm going to choose browse here. It opens up a new Finder window. Let me navigate here and go to my hard drive and I've got a folder here called Exercise Files Lightroom Organize. I'm going to select that and choose review for import. It now goes through and scans that folder. These are several different pictures from different time periods imported, and we'll bring these in.
