- Hey, I hope you are enjoying this course so far. Welcome to chapter number three. This one is Portrait of a Celebrity. Now, I am someone who doesn't photograph celebrities all the time, it isn't my main thing. But when I get the chance to, it's incredibly exciting, challenging, and rewarding. And one of the things that you'll discover is if you listen to someone talk about celebrity portraiture at a conference, or a workshop. or online, often what we'll talk about is that when you photograph celebrities, you end up working in less than ideal environments. In other words, a celebrity's working on an amazing film, and you have 15 minutes, off to the side, in a small, dingy corner, and you have to make the best with what you have. And that was exactly the case here. I didn't have a lot of time, I knew the location wasn't great, so I needed to try to come up with some way to create something out of nothing.
