Lens corrections

- [Instructor] I apply lens corrections to all of my images before I start editing them. Lens profile corrections correct for geometric and vignette distortions that are caused by the lens that capture the image. Applying a lens correction should help the appearance of your photo before you make any other edits to it. The lens correction panel also includes an option to remove chromatic aberration and I always turn both of these on. I'm going to scroll down the right side panel group to find the lens corrections panel, and then just click on it to open that up. We see remove chromatic aberration and enable profile corrections. I'm going to start by checking this to turn on the profile correction and right away, we see how this improve the image. It also found the make of my camera and the lens that was used to capture this image that is metadata information and the file that Lightroom Classic uses to apply this profile…
