- Hey folks, Kristie from Shark Pixel here, and I am so thrilled to be bringing you this brand new class all about headshots in Lightroom. Now, some of you may be thinking, what's a headshot, why do I need a headshot? Well, in the last five or ten years there's been a huge change and migration to digital. Everybody nowadays has a digital persona. And so whether you're using a headshot for LinkedIn or you're using it for a dating website or something like that, or even a intranet at your place of work or your business, everybody needs a headshot. So let's talk about how we're going to make them look their best using Lightroom. You're going to learn things like how to retouch faces using exclusively Lightroom, not Photoshop, okay? Photoshop for me is a huge time suck, and so whenever I need to take things into Photoshop, I know I'm losing 10, 15 minutes of really valuable time. And so by only working in Lightroom today, we're going to be saving you guys time, and we're going to be working smarter, not harder, which is one of my mantras when I'm teaching. Now, we're also going to be talking about creating custom adjustment brushes in Lightroom, which are going to do multiple changes with one brush stroke, which again, is going to be maximizing your time spent retouching. You're also going to learn how to dodge and burn in Lightroom exclusively. So all of these things are going to be covered in today's class, and you've definitely got to stick around until the end, because I'm going to be giving you guys a lot of free download materials to use in your everyday workflow, so let's get started.
