- [Instructor] Another way to make colors bolder is to adjust the Luminance, so let's go to that panel. If we think of Saturation as the amount of pigment we can think of Luminance as if our photo was on a backlit surface. We darken the Luminance of individual colors it's like putting neutral colored sunglasses on just that color. It looks similar to Saturation, but it works a little differently. So let's mess with both. In this picture let's see what happens when we adjust the Orange. We pull it down, it brings the orange a little muddy. Not so good. But if we bring it up too much we're losing a lot of that orange saturation and that orange color in here. The orange is still there, but it's a lot brighter than we'd like it. So let's set our Orange to maybe about right here. Alright, now let's come down to the Yellows. Let's see what happens there when we mess with that. It's the same thing.
