Managed catalogs vs. referenced catalogs
- [Speaker] Some applications give you a choice between what we call a managed catalog and a referenced catalog. Capture One Pro, is one of those applications that gives you a choice. And I want to explain the differences because it's relevant to how you back up, you know, your work. So a managed catalog is a catalog that has everything in it, in this one container here. And we'll take a peek inside. You're not supposed to open these up because they're database driven (laughs) and you can really screw things up, but we'll just take a peek and we promise we won't break anything while in here. So this is a managed cataloging, you'll see that we have all sorts of folders in here, you know, for adjustments and so forth. But one of those folders is for the masters of themselves. Okay.
