Merging people into one record
- Sometimes when Lightroom goes through and scans pictures, it may not recognize someone as being the same person. Maybe there's a major change such as changes in age, or maybe there's something that it's confused about. Well, it's possible to merge two separate records into one. So if it looks and finds people, but splits it into two buckets, and it's really the same person, it's easy to combine those into one person. In this case, I can also merge things together. Now, we don't have a very large library here, but let's say if it thought that there was multiple people. What we can do is Command + Click to select two people. This would allow you to then choose Merge. I'm not going to do this because my son and I are two definitely different people, but you might end up with multiple instances of the same person.
