- [Instructor] Temporary backup is also very important. Let's say you're going on vacation to Hawaii. You're going to take lots of pictures but you don't want to take your Drobo to Hawaii, right? (chuckling) That's no fun. You don't want to lug, I mean, that thing would fill up half of your suitcase. You'd rather have other things in there like board shorts and slippers, and snorkels, and things. So you do need smaller backup devices for when you are traveling, when you're on the road, or just carrying around in your backpack for day-to-day life, and that's where these SSD drives, these solid state drives come in so handy. Now, some people go, "Well, are solid state drives reliable?" Yes, they are. They're very reliable. Now are they more reliable than the spinning platter hard drives that we talked about earlier? That depends on who you ask. They're at least as reliable and they're also a little bit more durable…
