- [Female Instructor] Post-production. Most of the work in silhouettes is done right in camera so we'll have to get almost everything right while we're shooting. However even with the shot just right, post processing is a necessary step that likely can't be overlooked. It can be tricky to bring out the story and emotion in a silhouette while retaining the integrity of what we saw when we experienced it. We can take an image like this and create a simple, clean edit that brings the image to what we saw when we were there. We'll be using Lightroom to complete these silhouettes but almost any software can be used. In the editing portion of this course we'll go into how to create realistic tones and how to make dynamic colors and wild exaggerations of nature that still print well. There's a lot to learn through this course but let's start with learning what makes a good silhouette great.
