- [Instructor] The next step that I take in my Lightroom workflow is to rate and rank my photographs. And I do this before I apply any develop settings to the images. Because right now I have a collection 200 photographs. That would be a lot to work with. Rather than working on all those images, I only wanna work with my selects. So what I do is double click one of these little thumbnails here and then click on the panel icon on the right to open up more screen space for the image. I also sometimes will decrease the size of my film strip below just so I have more space devoted to the actual image. Then next, I use shortcuts to add flags, stars or labels. Flags, that's P, U, X are the shortcuts. For the stars, that zero through five and then labels, six, seven, eight and nine. I tend to prefer to just use stars. I keep this really simple. And so what I'm gonna do is use my arrow keys to move forward through the photographs, and I'm gonna look at the images really quickly. It's kinda…
