Renaming and renumbering image sequences

- Once you've stacked the panoramic photos, you might want to choose to rename them. You see, over the course of a professional shooting career, you're going to end up with a lot of files with the exact same name. That's because every 9,999 files or so your camera resets its counter. Well, you start shooting panoramic or even more so time-lapse photography, and you're going to have a lot of images with the exact same file name. One thing I like to take advantage of is Adobe Bridge's ability to batch rename files with a little bit more commonsense type naming. Let's select this first stack of images here. I'll make it a bit smaller and click to expand the stack so all of them are selected. Clicking on the number will do that. You can now choose Tools, Batch Rename which bring up a useful dialog box. Now, there are lots of presets here that you can work with One of the challenges here Let's call this Desert_Pano_. Then I'll click the plus button and add some more text and for this first…
