Sharpening and noise reduction

- [Instructor] Most images will require some sharpening and possibly noise reduction too, and both of these are found in the detail panel. I'll scroll down the right side panel group to get to the detail panel and then click on it to open it. The first thing that we notice here is this big warning symbol in the upper left-hand corner of the sharpening section. This is telling us that in order to evaluate the sharpening of an image, we need to zoom in on it. So if you click on the warning, it will zoom you in on the image. There's another option here found under the disclosure triangle. I'll click on that to open it, and this is where we get a small preview that's zoomed in. So if I click on the image to zoom back out, we don't have a warning symbol anymore. We can evaluate the image in this little preview window. I actually prefer to use the big screen, so I'll collapse that and click on the image to zoom in. Now I'll take…
