- If you have a smartphone, chances are it has a camera built in and if it has a camera built in, it may well have an actual panoramic camera built in. If not, there's a ton of apps out there, but let's take a look at the built in iPhone for a second. I'll just launch my camera app. Pretty straightforward and at the top I tap the Options button. Right below that is the option for Panorama. Now when I'm shooting a panoramic photo it's going to disable the flash and it's going to disable HDR mode, but it's pretty straightforward. I just tap it and the camera switches over into a panorama shooting mode. Now it's got a little arrow giving me the preview and what it's telling me is is line up my shot and then I'm going to move it continuously and it gives me a little guide with the arrow. So I'll trigger the shot and start to pan. And ideally, I want to keep the arrow on the line. Once you're all done, it's automatically stored to the photo roll on the iPhone.
