Shutter priority and exposure compensation
- My favorite mode to shoot on when I'm shooting silhouettes is actually shutter priority because then I can use exposure compensation, and it's just a flip of my thumb to be able to get the exact right exposure I'm looking for. Let's take a look. Right here, I'm positioned, and all I can do is just move my thumb dial, move my thumb dial, and the exposure changes. Look at that. I can get exactly what I'd like. I can go from a really nice even exposure, to a little bit darker, you know, to a blown one, which isn't good for us. Let's keep it about right there to take our shot. (camera clicking) It's so easy. Why don't you try shutter priority next time you're shooting silhouettes?
