- [Instructor] So the final shoot of the day was really fun. We had the golden light, I already had great shots of Ashley and one of the things that I wanted to do was send her off with something that was special beyond the yearbook. Something that her mom would want, maybe something for the wall, that kind of thing. So originally, we had a little bit of light coming in and I was actually gonna have Max hold a reflector and bounce that up and then use that really nice background light. While we're setting up, I looked up and suddenly the light was gone. That little bit of light went away. I really wasn't worried and that's where I decided to pull out the fill flash, put it on the camera. What I do is I dial down the flash exposure compensation to about negative one, it looks really natural. When I showed her the pictures on there, I said can you tell that we used a flash and she goes no, this works right. That's the beauty of that. So when you have that really nice light, just a…
