Tapping iCloud via Photos for macOS
Photos from macOS is definitely a child of the cloud, right? It's in its very DNA. That's why Apple built it from the ground up. Some folks lament the loss of Aperture and the loss of iPhoto, but they didn't have that cloud component. And it was easier to build an application from scratch than to make those fully integrated. And that's what Apple has done with Photos. Now that it's been around for a while, it's turning out to be a very nice piece of software. A little bit like Lightroom Creative Cloud in that the images, if you're set up will automatically go into the cloud. You have some choice about how that happens. Okay. So here we are in Photos, you go to preferences and you click on the iCloud tab. You have some choices. First thing you want to do is make sure that you have iCloud photos checked, right? And then you also want to make sure that you have enough storage in iCloud to handle your library. If…
